Hello, and welcome to my portfolio page!

In my fine art work, I prefer to paint in oils and watercolor. I am very interested in the play of light off of objects and its effects on color and form. Many of my preferred subjects are garden related (i.e. garden statuary, flowers, time of day, change of seasons, etc). Also, I have the "Chinese Silk" series which features my model draped in a beautiful silk from China (circa WWII from an admirer of my mother). The human form holds great interest for me as it is always challenging to draw and paint. But besides that fact, it is a great opportunity for the play of light and color once again to make an impact as a painting or design.
